The beauty of Cahokia Mounds is undeniable. One of the greatest cities in the world doing AD1200 (the city was larger than London). The spirit of this land should be restored and preserved. It’s one of my favorite location to visit and to photograph.

When it’s raining, where are you?  When it’s pouring, what do you do? When it’s flooding, where is your truth? The only thing that I fear is believing in you—believing more in you than you do. I heard an older woman say, no pain, no gain. Will you leave me out there alone, or can you stand the rain?
